Welcome to Summit United Methodist Church. We are a Christ filled community of faith whose mission is to serve and to share, making disciples of Jesus Christ. We do so through small groups, outreach opportunities, and worship. Everyone is welcome to participate with us. Whether you are just stopping by or are looking for a permanent church home, we look forward to meeting you.
Summit United Methodist Church began as a dream in the hearts of the community in 1837.
Over the years, the original structure was replaced in 1892 and then again in 1961. In 1984,
our current Educational Building was dedicated. What began as a dream in the hearts of the original congregation continues to grow in our hearts today. We invite you to come grow with us in Christ.
